BIOGRAPHY
Eiji INA is a landscape photographer, using 8×10 camera.
He visualizes the problems and the taboo to hide behind in the society.
The beauty of the object is always realized in his prints. In "Zone", he photographed the gigantic antennas of US Armed force in Japan.
In "Waste" (published by Nazraeli Press, USA), he treated the industrial waste. He was awarded the second place of the Leopold Godowsky, Jr. Color Photography Awards in 1998.
He won the Photo City Sagamihara ‐Grand Prize 2009 with his recent series EMPEROR OF JAPAN (Nazraeli Press) . He photographed all the graves of the Emperors lasting 124's.
His works are collected by the many museums in Japan and abroad.
