From 5 October 2021, a special exhibition of Mika Yoshizawa's work is currently on show at the Chiba City Museum of Art, on the 5th floor. In addition to works from the collection and deposited works of the museum, the exhibition features 125 early drawings (from the artist's collection) of her first solo exhibition in 1982. In her fourth year at university, she drew domestic appliances, cut them out and pasted them on the wall as an installation. This is the same period as the works he drew on chest and table. The exhibition also shows the germ of her later dynamic paintings.
The exhibition is open until Sunday 26 December.
