We present a new show of 2 young artists studies at MFA in oil painting, Tokyo University of the Arts. Tamana Moteki is conscious of human eye’s regular movement and she started her new work of Yamanote Line series to recreate the fluctuation in the figures and urbanscape. Aya Morita creates her works in the motif of organ such as lung etc. from her child asthma experience and shows us paper cutout of superlative craftsmanship. Her delicate image cut sharply from a paper has both fragility and beauty. We will explore the edge of the expression created by the young artists’ physical memories.
